Scrub Love Mint Temptation

*PR sample

If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know I'm a huge fan of coffee scrubs. Coffee scrubs work as an amazing skin exfoliant and cellulite buster. Recently I discovered Scrub Love, a UK company that makes organic, fair trade scrubs. Each pouch is packed with natural, ethically sourced ingredients that treat the skin.

I've been using the 'Mint Temptation' scrub twice a week to buff my body to rid dead skin, I also like to massage the product into areas that I want to tighten and firm. The consistency of this scrub is so much softer than scrubs I currently use, which can be a little harsh on the skin. This particular scrub contains Peppermint oil which gives a refreshing burst and I love how it leaves a cool tingle on my body. Application is a little messy but expected, although I have found this scrub doesn't stain the bath tub which is great!

Each scrub retails between £11.95-£13.95 and are available in original and coconut. If you haven't converted to coffee scrubs you must try Scrub Love, they don't use parabens or preservatives and are against animal testing :)

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion - £6.99

On the hunt for a new heat protector for my hair, I came across Lee Stafford's Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion. What instantly caught my attention was the key ingredient of coconut which, if you know me well enough - you'll know I absolutely love! This is a multipurpose product for the hair, not only does it protect your locks it conditions, strengthens and softens.

To apply I squeeze a small amount on to my palm then massage gently into my hair from the middle down to the ends. This product is to be used on towel dry hair before styling. I can't get enough of the scent of the lotion, it smells gorgeous and lingers through the day. My hair doesn't feel weighed down or sticky and instantly feels smoother. I will definitely be repurchasing this and would recommend it to anyone this summer.

Bourjois Rice Powder Java

Bourjois Rice Powder Java - £9.99

This is a rather overdue post - I had purchased this product quite a few months ago but have only recently been using it in my make up routine. This is the Bourjois Rice Powder Java, which had been released to celebrate the brand's 150th birthday. The powder itself is a cult product dating back to 1879 and is still popular amongst beauty junkies today!

I have been using this as a finish to my base to give a smooth, matte complexion. The powder is incredibly light on the skin and is pleasantly fragrant. It's transparent in colour and does not over power my skin tone. Although I have found this product doesn't dry out my skin, I can't guarantee it would set well on those with dry skin types. I also love the classic packaging, it would look so perfect on the vanity table of a french boudoir.
